non capisco è configurato alla perfezione, ma sia quello in locale che quello online mi danno lo stesso errore e ripeto che i parametrei del source sono perfetti

mi risparmierebbe un sacco di tempo allacciarmi direttamente senza passare tra download e upload

ho contattato TOPHOST, il quale mi comunica che per questioni di sicurezza nn è possibile accedere esternamente ai loro database
peccato

Gli hoster appunto per motivi di sicurezza bloccano la porta 3306 (MySQL)

Dal server web non riusciresti a connetterti a quello MySQL di un altro gestore..

grazie per la risposta
su un altro provider andando sul pannello di controllo potevo concedere delle "wild card" a degli IP per potermi connettere al DB, effettivamente per 10 euro anno non posso chiedere la luna
