Salve,
mi è giunta una mail da vBulletin che dice:.

According to our records, you have one or more 'Downloaded' modifications that are not marked as installed.

Please review your downloaded modifications (UserCP > Downloaded Modifications) to make any necessary changes.

If you are using any of the modifications you can mark them as Installed. To mark a modification as installed just click on the [Downloaded] link found next to each modification title. You can also find the 'Mark As Installed' link within the modification information page.

Downloaded modifications that have not been installed will only appear in the 'Downloaded Modifications' list for five weeks - and you will only be reminded about a downloaded modification once.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications may be notified by the author whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to our attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps the author know how many people are using their work, giving them extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

Al link ho trovato un plugin che ho scaricato ma poi non ho installato.
Mi spiegate cosa significa tutto questo?
Ho capito bene che ho un numero limitato di cose da scaricare dal sito?
Ma vBulletin controlla tutto nel mio sito?

ma credo si riferisca al bottone "install" che c'e' su tutti o quasi i mod da scaricare in modo che loro possano controllare i consensi di quel mod....almeno credo..

Lo mandano tanto in tanto se hai scaricato qualche hack o mod e non cliccato su installed. Ad esempio nel caso in cui il hack non fa quello che vuoi che faccia

E' arrivata a tutti gli utenti di vb.org. Semplicemente ti avvisa che ci sono plug-in che hai scaricato ma non installato. Quindi ti invita a segnalare l'installazione avvenuta all'interno dei thread. Tutto qui.

Pero' questo e' esagerato dovevano permettere anche di restituire cio che non serve piu' o che non viene instalalto
